I've known the Holmes family for a few years now, so it was an honor to be asked to photograph Maddie for her formal. She's a smart cookie with a very bright future. That's one of the things I love about formal photography; I almost feel like I'm capturing the moment they transition from child to adult. The last, huge season is ending and the new season is beginning. The canvas is blank and ready for all the colour of life to paint their picture. Ahhh, what an exciting time!
