I have wanted to photograph in cotton for years and the Hart family made all my dreams come true! We had to reschedule this session because of bad weather. The risk was that with a fortnight between suitable dates, the cotton could have been past its "pretty" stage, or worse - all picked! It's been a long time since I've seen the Gilmour family, but we happened to coincidentally cross paths again! The Anderson's (from this post here) organised for me to do photos of "their neighbours" while I was down doing photos of them, too. In walked "the neighbours" and we realised we know each other! Our annual Anderson family photos sure were a hoot! These kids crack me up so much, haha. I learned very quickly with these kiddos that we always get the best photos when we let them do their thing and I just snap around them. Even still, we were relying on some pretty strong bribes this time; I think they've figured out my tactics. We had a great afternoon together, nonetheless. Always a pleasure, guys! What a beautiful family Steven and Laura have built! It was lovely to catch up with them out at their family home at Biddeston and meet their twins Mac and Lucy. The last session I did with Laura and her big girls was quite some time ago, so we were very due for some more photos, espeically with all the new additions! Congratulations, Laura and Steven, on the arrival of Mac and Lucy. I can't wait to catch up again sometime soon before all these kids get too big!
